TURBOMASTER PROFILE

TurboMaster Pumps has specialised in the manufacture of electric submersible and vertical lineshaft driven bore hole pumps for 40 years. TurboMaster has established its solid reputation as industry leader through experience, strong technical expertise, and efficient, reliable, quality service. Offering design and advice on water supply and dewatering projects, sales, service, repairs, spare parts, test bay facilities and installation from small to major turn-key projects.

The company was established as a subsidiary of E & L Metcalf Pty Ltd, founded by Laurie Metcalf in 1932. From it's origins at a small workshop in Bayswater the company began repairing motor cycles and racing bikes, since then the company has ungergone a continuous evolution. During the 1940's the company contributed machine shop and design expertise to the national defense effort and afterwards turned to manufacturing of inboard marine engines for fishing craft. During 1960 the company moved to Osborne Park. The same year saw the first E & L Metcalf manufactured pump roll off the production line to be installed at Government House. Following this, the grounds reticulation of the Commonwealth Games village became the companies first major pumping exercise. From this experience the company grew from strength to strength, developing a range of specialised pumping equipment and expanding through domestic and international markets.

At the manufacturing and after-sales service facility in Wangara today, TurboMaster continues to manufacture the TurboMaster range of pumps and specialises in providing a comprehensive range of products and services for many industries. The company services a wide range of applications, including government, mining, agriculture and industrial for both water and hydrocarbon pumping, for clients including Water Corporation of Western Australia, Woodside Offshore Petroleum, BP Australia, Shell Company, Argyle Diamond Mines, BHP, Western Mining Corporation, Alcoa, Hamersley Iron, Iluka Mineral Sands, The Granites Gold Mine (NT), Henry Walker Eltin Contracting, local government and interstate power authorities; Cities of Perth, Joondalup, Wanneroo, Bayswater and Towns of Cambridge and Vincent.
